How is it confusing exactly? The attribute gives/sets the object
representing the <units> element (and element is the technically correct
term to use from the XML specification), so it seems that unitsElement
actually spells out what it does quite clearly. I don't think I can
think of a better name than that (unless you are looking for a shorter
name, we could abbreviate to unitsEl, but that is ugly and confusing).
