Greetings,
CellML Metadata Specification has provisions for logging citations using
terms and classes under the cellml bqs namespace, which was derived from
OMG's Bibliographic Query Service Draft Specification. This was done early
this decade before there was a RDF schema for creating citations, when there
was nothing better. The situation has changed today and there are more
widely supported choice(s) of RDF schemas to construct citation metadata
(such as: DCMI-Terms, Bibliographic Ontology, (also OpenURL)), which I think
the CellML Metadata Specification should be using. I have created this
tracker item that lists my concerns relating to this issue.

Kind Regards,
Tommy.
