Dear CellML Community,

This is a call for nominations for two new CellML Editors.

The CellML editorial board is an elected group of five members who have the
responsibility to encourage and facilitate discussion about development of
the CellML standard. Editors also approve official specification documents,
correct errata, assess proposals, and manage revisions to CellML. They are
elected by the CellML community and serve for 3-year terms as volunteers. The
current board members are listed at
http://www.cellml.org/community/editorial_board. One board member is needed
to replace Mike Cooling, whose term ends at the CellML Workshop in June.
Another member is needed to replace Edmund Crampin, who stepped down in 2015.

This is the nomination phase of the CellML Editor election. You may nominate
anyone (including yourself) that you believe is qualified and would act as a
good CellML Editor. Current members of the CellML Editorial Board cannot be
nominated for election.

Nominations should be made via the form available at https://goo.gl/iBq5SM.
The nomination deadline is ** Friday 20 May 2016 **. You may nominate
multiple individuals - simply fill out the form more than once.

The current Editors will gather the results and create a single list of
unique candidates, verify with each candidate that they accept the
nomination, and finally issue a call for voting following the 10th
International CellML Workshop
(https://www.cellml.org/community/events/workshop/2016).

If you wish to know more details about the election process, please see
http://www.cellml.org/community/election-of-editors.

Best Regards,

Mike Cooling, on behalf of the CellML Editorial Board.
