Dear all,



This is just to let you know that a new (minor) OpenCOR snapshot has been
released (see here).



It is mainly to reflect the fact that we had to change the license under
which OpenCOR is released. Indeed, the author of QScintilla (a third-party
library that we use for the editing of text-based files) used to release his
library under GPL v3.0 with a linking exception, but that exception has now
gone, making it impossible for us to use the latest version of QScintilla
under the Apache v2.0 license. We could have reverted to an earlier version,
but it would have meant implementing various patches. So, in the end, and
after some internal discussions, we decided to switch to GPL v3.0. The good
thing is that it will allow us to use Qt Charts (also released under GPL
v3.0) and, thus, improve the look of our plots.



Finally, official versions of OpenCOR can now be downloaded from both the
OpenCOR website and from GitHub, which might help some of our users.
