Hi all,

This is a call for nominations for two new CellML Editors.

The CellML Editorial Board is an elected group of five members who have the
responsibility to encourage and facilitate discussion about development of
the CellML standard. CellML Editors also approve official specification
documents, correct errata, assess proposals, and manage revisions to CellML.
They are elected by the CellML community and serve for 3-year terms as
volunteers. The current board members are listed at
http://www.cellml.org/community/editorial_board. Two board members are needed
to replace Keri Moyle, who has stepped down, and Max Neal whose term ends at
the conclusion of this election.

This is the nomination phase of the CellML Editors election. You may nominate
anyone (including yourself) that you believe is qualified and would act as a
good CellML Editor. Current members of the CellML Editorial Board cannot be
nominated for election.

Nominations should be made via the form available at
https://forms.gle/tMGjtRfeATzq4Kc86. The nomination deadline is Sunday 6th
June 2021. You may nominate multiple individuals – simply fill out the form
more than once.

The current CellML Editors will gather the results and create a single list
of unique candidates, verify with each candidate that they accept the
nomination, and finally issue a call for voting.

If you wish to know more details about the election process, please see
http://www.cellml.org/community/election-of-editors.

Regards,
Hugh, on behalf of the CellML Editorial Board.
