Hi all

Since the recent release of PCEnv 0.3, we need to touch base in terms of the
roadmap for the next three months, for PCEnv 0.4, and CellML API and its
reference implementation.

There has been some discussion between Alan Garny, Peter and myself as to
what Alan would like to work on regarding merging PCEnv and COR. The
outcome is that Alan would like to spend the next 3 months focussing on a
fresh look at the UI, and code up a proof of concept. While doing this, he
will regularly commit his code to svn.physiomeproject.org, so that other
developers can review and contribute as he goes along. We just need to
decide on where in the svn repository the commits should go.

Other plans are for Justin and Andrew to continue to focus on PCEnv and the
CellML API and its reference implementation. Based on the tracker, and
various discussions, the following items currently stand as the next
priorities, but we should review these:

1) Mac OS support

2) Validation service

3) Python wrapper of CellML api (to make life easier for Tommy)

4) Java wrapper of CellML api (to make life easier for for groups
developing Java CellML tools)

5) User interface issues and glitches

6) Export code to various languages

7) Computational issues and improvements

8) Model fitting

9) Other (see tracker)

There is also work on CellML Specification 1.2, which will translate affect
PCEnv and the CellML api.

Let's discuss this, I suggest we discuss this via this mail list.

Regards,

Randall
