Dear all,

mozCellML 0.3.1 has been released. This is a stable release, and is the best
version of mozCellML currently available. mozCellML 0.3.1 works correctly with
Firefox 1.5 and Firefox 1.5.0.2(and any version 1.5.0.*).

If you discover a bug in mozCellML 0.3.1, please report it at
http://www.cellml.org/tools/mozCellML/tracker.

The last public stable release of mozCellML was mozCellML 0.1. Since mozCellML
0.1, mozCellML 0.3 has had a new user interface designed, and numerous feature
upgrades. For more details, please see the release notices for the release
candidates in the 0.3 series.

The only differences between mozCellML 0.3.1 and mozCellML 0.3 are:
1) the version number has changed, and,
2) compatibility with Firefox 1.5.0.2 and later 1.5.0.*, and,
3) some minor fixes to the integration process, so that mozCellML will make
more
useful choices when the model is overconstrained .

Source
------
The mozCellML bzip2'd tar file actually contains a number of different
packages, each of which are required to produce a working mozCellML binary.
The
cmgui subdirectory contains the source code for cmgui, the 3D visualisation
environment used to draw the graphs. cmgui_corba_bridge contains a CORBA based
cmgui server. xpcorba contains a derivative of XPCORBA, allowing the Firefox
to use CORBA, and so allows mozCellML to communicate with cmgui.
The mozGeneralPlugin subdirectory contains a simple plugin which allows
mozCellML to get a handle for an area of the screen.

As building from source is quite an involved process due to all the components
required, it is recommended that you only do this if you need to modify the
C++ code.

Binaries
--------
The binaries provided support Firefox 1.5 through to Firefox 1.5.0.*. Binaries
supporting the older 1.7.*
series of the Mozilla Suite are no longer provided, as it is too old.

Two platforms are currently supported:
1) Win32(Win98 and later) on i386, running Firefox 1.5.
2) Linux on x86, running Firefox 1.5.

It is essential that you install the correct binary for your system, or
mozCellML will not work.

Note: Linux users must have write access to the Firefox directory in order to
use mozCellML. If this is not the case, install Firefox as your user before
installing mozCellML.

Best regards,
Andrew Miller
