I don't understand why you would want to turn this off - this is a very
useful feature which allows readers of the list to quickly determine
which commits relate to which parts of the software and therefore should
get most attention for review.
I don't think the how part is hard, but I think we should discuss the
why before we go forward - if this was turned off it would definitely be
missed by me.
