Hi Alan

As you may know, Justin is working on getting PCEnv running under MacOS.
The approach we are taking is to use a binary built for MacOS by the Mozilla
developers themselves, I think Justin is using the nightly build. Perhaps
if you tried the same thing on Ubuntu 8.10, i.e. rather than building your
own Xulrunner, just use a nightly build, you'd be able to "compare notes"
with Justin. However, he will obviously be dealing with some MacOS specific
things.

Perhaps it makes sense to get PCEnv running under a standard XulRunner on a
platform where we already have it running on our XulRunner (e.g. one of the
Linux versions that PCEnv 0.5 was built on, or on Windows) before trying to
get it working on a platform where PCEnv has never run before (e.g. MacOS
and Ubuntu 8.10)? (The last comment is more for Justin to consider).
